3. Purpose of processing
Legal basis for processing:
- your own contact or quote request (steps prior to entering into a contract)
- a customer relationship, if the contact leads to a purchase
Purposes
Personal data is processed only for the following purposes:
- responding to quote requests and enquiries
- managing customer relationships and reseller cooperation

Information submitted through the quote form:
Contact details
- name
- company or farm
- phone number
- country
Enquiry details
- model of interest, reason for contact
- tractor power and type of waste wood, if provided
- details of purchased products, if the contact leads to a purchase

Right of access
You can check the personal data we hold about you.
Right to rectification
You can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data about you.
Right to object
You can object to the processing of your personal data if you believe it has been processed unlawfully.
Right to prohibit direct marketing
You have the right to prohibit the use of your data for direct marketing.
Right to erasure
You have the right to ask us to erase your data if its processing is no longer necessary. We will handle the request and either erase the data or tell you the reason why it cannot be erased.
The controller may have a statutory or other right not to erase the requested data. The controller is obliged to retain accounting records for the period set out in the Finnish Accounting Act (chapter 2, section 10), which is 10 years. Accounting records therefore cannot be erased before that period ends.
Withdrawing consent
If the processing of your data is based solely on consent, and not for example on a customer relationship, you can withdraw your consent.
Restriction of processing
You have the right to require that we restrict the processing of disputed data until the matter has been resolved.
Right to lodge a complaint

6. Regular sources of data
Data is regularly obtained:
- from you through the quote form on this website
- from you when a customer relationship begins
7. Regular disclosures of data
Data is not disclosed outside Aimeco Oy for marketing or any other purposes. We have made sure that all our service providers comply with data protection legislation.
8. Duration of processing
- Quote requests are processed for as long as responding to the enquiry and any resulting customer relationship require.
- Form data is not stored on the website. It is sent by email directly to Aimeco's sales team.
9. Processors of personal data
The controller and its employees process personal data. In addition, the following service providers process data on the controller's behalf:
- Bittivirta: website server and email for form messages (server in Hetzner Online GmbH's data centre in Helsinki, Finland)
- Räikee Oy: website development and maintenance
We ensure through contractual arrangements that personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law and otherwise appropriately.
10. Transfers outside the EU
Form data is not transferred outside the EU or EEA. The video embedding described in section 12 sends technical browser data to Vimeo in the United States.
11. Automated decision-making and profiling
We do not use the data for automated decision-making or profiling.
12. Cookies and tracking
We only use cookies that are technically necessary for the website to work properly.
To follow visitor numbers and how the site is used, we use an analytics service (Umami) that uses no cookies, does not store IP addresses and does not collect personal data. The data is fully anonymous and is used only to improve the site's functionality and content. It does not allow a user to be tracked across websites. Because the tracking does not identify the user, it does not require separate consent.
The site contains embedded Vimeo videos. When a video loads, Vimeo (Vimeo.com, Inc., United States) receives technical browser data such as your IP address. The embeds use Vimeo's Do Not Track setting, so Vimeo does not set tracking cookies.
